Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to TruTronic. We are committed to providing high-quality electronics and home appliances. This Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage applicable to products purchased from https://trutronic.co.za

1. Warranty Coverage

All products sold by TruTronic are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Warranty periods vary depending on the product and manufacturer.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage

  • Water or liquid damage

  • Power surges or electrical faults

  • Physical abuse or misuse

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Consumable items unless defective upon delivery

2. Manufacturer's Warranty

Most products sold by TruTronic carry a manufacturer's warranty ranging from 6 months to 5 years, depending on the product category and brand.

Warranty periods are specified on the product packaging, product documentation, or manufacturer's website.

Where a manufacturer provides a direct warranty service, customers may be referred directly to the manufacturer or authorized service center.

3. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Rights

In accordance with Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa, customers are entitled to a six-month implied warranty of quality on all eligible products.

If a product fails to satisfy the requirements of quality within six months of delivery, the customer may be entitled to:

  • Repair of the product

  • Replacement of the product

  • Refund of the purchase price

The remedy offered will be determined in accordance with the CPA and the nature of the defect.

4. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Products

Products reported as defective within 7 days of delivery may qualify for Dead on Arrival (DOA) assessment.

Customers must:

  • Notify TruTronic immediately

  • Provide proof of purchase

  • Provide photographs or videos where requested

  • Return the item with all original packaging and accessories

DOA claims are subject to inspection and verification.
